So much to admire: the splendor, the rooms which were once inhabited by royalty, the architecture, the decorations. Your starting point should of course be piazza Castello where you’ll find Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama and numerous other important buildings. Your final destination should then be the “crown of delights” or rather the gorgeous residences (former hunting estates and summer residences) which surround the city. If you visit Palazzo Reale and the Reggia di Venaria Reale, you’ll see that Turin has no reason to be envious of Paris and Versailles.
