Food is one of the highlights of Piedmontese culture. It would be impossible to describe Turin and the Region without mentioning recipes that are landmarks of its history, that reflect its tradition. Discovering the ingredients, retracing the birth of the area’s cuisine means understanding the territory. And there are many surprises: just think that one of the main ingredients of the bagna cauda, a cult food in Piedmont, is fish, and salt-water fish to boot. Food is culture, but it’s much more, too. And, naturally, tempting Piedmontese products are second to none, from wine to truffles, from chocolate to meat. Buon appetito!
