The hotel industry in Turin is undergoing a phase of expansion – the tourism boom of the last few years and the prospect of the Winter Olympic Games of 2006 have led to new investments and growth in the sector. As of right now, the accommodations Turin has to offer are very good – there are hotels for all budgets, except perhaps for the largest budget as Turin does not yet have a real five star hotel. Projects are however underway to give Turin this most elite class of hotels, and in the meantime the four-star hotels, some which are recent constructions, should satisfy the needs of even the most fussy guests. In terms of the three-star hotels, some are real gems which offer excellent service in fabulous locations for decent prices. And the only difficulty for those who really want to save will be choosing a hotel out of the lot. To help you with this choice, we have picked out a few of the inexpensive hotels which we find to be the most original and interesting. Enjoy your stay!
