The shadow of the warrior
Today, Palazzo Barolo inaugurates its third appointment with “The Shadow of the Warrior” an exhibit-voyage honoring Japan’s traditions and culture.
The exhibit – coordinated by the Yoshin Ryu-Scuola di Cultura e Discipline Orientali –features characters that come to life in their settings – a tea house, a dojo, the laboratory of a katane maker and a ceramics maker, a calligrapher’s room – as well as their instruments – weapons and armor, ceramics, calligraphy and objects of art. The artifacts come from private collections and from the Museo Stibbert in Florence, and includes images and film clips, interactive spaces and events.
