In just seven years Palazzo Bricherasio has managed to become a central player in the art scene of Turin. This foundation opened in 1995 with two fantastic one-man exhibits (Kandinskij and Malevic), and today it hosts exhibits dedicated to the great figures of the 19th and 20th Centuries. The 17th Century Palazzo Bricherasio actually has a history of being a center of culture, for that is precisely what the charismatic Countess Sofia di Bricherasio made of it centuries ago. The foundation is near to the center of town – it’s is just a few meters from via Roma, in front of the Centro Commerciale Lagrange 15 (trade center). |
