In 1577 the Jesuit Priests asked Pellegrino Tibaldi to commission the construction of this church on via Garibaldi. The impressive main altar was designed by Filippo Juvarra, and the frescos of the sacristy are by Antonio Milocco. Finally to the left of the entrance lies the tomb of Joseph De Maistre. This church stands only a few meters away from it neighbor church, the Cappella della Pia Congregazione dei Banchieri e dei Mercanti. |
