A historical, late-18th century villa is the backdrop for shows, exhibits and evenings in the name of the artistic avant-garde. Open since 1999, the cultural center Villa Capriglio stands apart in its promotion of young artists and their laboratories, and takes its place within a context to upgrade the city’s architectonic patrimony (and its botanical patrimony as well: the villa has a large garden). It’s usually open in the afternoon, even if the location is often used to host theme evenings, with video installations, jazz concerts and dj’s proposing alternative electronic music. |
