Giordano, which only occupies a few square meters in piazza Carlo Felice, is quite simply a most lovely and delightful shop. The dark wood of its shelves blends in with the dark chocolate atop them; the hand packaged cardboard boxes hide from view the most exquisite secrets; and the glass jars contain candied violets and other delicacies. You must try the “preferiti” (little chocolates with liqueur and cherries) and of course the giandujotti (better and more expensive because they are handmade).
