A delicatessen where you can also eat, it actually looks more like a creative interior decorating store: the owners come from the world of design and it shows. In one of the few pleasant eateries near the Valentino Park, the objects are all purposefully unmatched: a military chest; small, high-tech tables; old bread chests; bright colors; big picture windows. A well-lit display case contains dishes such as Russian salad, veal in tuna sauce, octopus carpaccio and gnocchi della Val Varaita. Choose, sit down and enjoy. Careful attention is paid to the ingredients – the meat comes from the La Granda consortium, Baladin beer, the single-portion cake is made with chocolate from Gobino – and the service is friendly. |
