This food festival has no rivals: here you not only eat dried cod (prepared with delicious recipes) but you also throw it. Indeed a rather peculiar contest is held outside the walls of the castle – contestants have throw a dried cod as many times as necessary to have it make a circle around the castle. Whoever completes this task in the fewest cod-tosses wins. The event is held in April, although the precise date has not yet been set. |
