Pastis will take you back to the 1950's with its simple interior inspired by the famous brand of coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant even during the day, and the lunch offerings are interesting. Indeed the menu is rich with super fresh dishes, and the prices are reasonable. The no-smoking room includes a small space where young artists can show their work – Pastis tends to be popular with the actors, artists, and intellectuals of Turin. The location is also beautiful, in the small piazza Emanuele Filiberto (part of which becomes the outdoor area in summer). This little piazza separates the popular Porta Palazzo from the Quadrilatero Romano. |
